UNDER 15's IN SCOTLAND SQUAD

Three members of Accies under 15 side have been invited to Largs as part of the Scotland under 15 squad preparatory gathering - Alan Urquhart, Andrew Rankin and Euan Lindsay were the players selected.

This is the first step on the international ladder and lets the SFA coaches see the boys at close hand prior to a couple of friendly internationals at the end of the season, as a build up the Victory Shield series of under 16 internationals next season against the other home countries.

Good luck to the three boys concerned.

NEW FIXTURE LIST OUT SOON

Happy New Year everyone.  I hope to receive the fixture list for the second half of the season soon and will post it on the website as soon as I have it.

The fixtures for 13's, 14's, 15's and 16/17's all start with games against Hibernian on the 27th January 08 and the fixture list should be a repeat of the first half of the season (with venues reversed) unless any teams have dropped out.

All the best

UNDER 19's PROGRESS TO QUARTER FINALS

Accies u19's defeated Dalbeattie Star 6-0 in the 4th round of the SFA Youth Cup at NDP on Thursday night with goals from Calum Hendrie (a cracker in 15 mins), Stuart Mills (another good one in 33 mins), a Gary 'papa'  Gow double (40, 56 mins), big Grant Evans (47 mins) and Ali Crawford drove home the sixth in the 82nd minute.

Additionally wee Ali missed a 49th minute penalty. This was a good all round performance by Accies who finished the game with nine men after Gary Gow and Alan Love both limped off injured in the closing few minutes.

Management team Frankie McAvoy, Stuart Taylor, Ross Hughes and Billy Reid were pleased with the display against the South of Scotland side, who had defeated Dunfermline away in the previous round, and who worked hard throughout.

Accies Team:  McLachlan, Love (ret'd inj), Sheridan, Evans, McQueen (Collins 68 ), Crawford, Mills (Gibbons 36), Mackay, Hendrie, Gilespie (Fagan 45), Gow (ret'd inj).
